At 1,800 metres above sea level, the Kasbah Du Toubkal unobtrusively looks out over three major valleys carved out of majestic mountains rising to over 4000 metres.
Discover Ltd, our UK company, purchased and rebuilt the ruin in the early 1990s, employing local people wherever possible and using local building techniques and materials. We believe that the pace of development should be sustainable and that the local community should benefit from our presence. We have also helped the local communities to set up a village association mainly funded by our own self-taxing scheme and donations from visitors.
Equipped for day visits, seminars, residential stays or as a base for more active pursuits. Whatever you choose, the Berber people who staff the Kasbah Du Toubkal will give you a warm welcome and a fascinating insight into their culture. The Kasbah is particularly suitable for groups and families.
